Overview

The Conservation Travel Foundation has erected two VHF radio transmitters in the heart of Damaraland, one in each of the //Huab and Doro !Nawas Conservancies. This is designed to increase coverage across the region and to improve the ability to provide meaningful and timely information to help with monitoring and rhino conservation in the area. It also provides a crucial link in communication channels between the Conservancies and the Save the Rhino Trust Namibia (SRT) headquarters in Palmwag.
